Sambhar Powder |
This is what you need:
3 tbsp Bengal gram/Kadalai paruppu
3 tbsp Coriander seeds
6-7 Red chillies
1 tbsp Fenugreek seeds
1 tsp Asfoetida powder
1 tsp Oil
This is what you do:
- Heat the oil in a pan
- Add the Bengal gram and coriander seeds and saute till you get the aroma
- Now add the fenugreek seeds, asfoetida and red chillies and saute till you get the aroma
- Take care not to burn the red chillies
- Cool and grind to a coarse powder without adding water
- Keep in a airtight container and store for a month.
