Wheat Pockets |
This is what you need:
1 1/2 cups Wheat flour
1/2 cup Rava
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
Water as required
1/2 cup Rava

Mix all the above in a bowl. Mix it into a chapathi dough consistency.
For the filling:
200 gms Paneer cubed
1 cup Peas boiled
2 medium sized Potatoes boiled and mashed
1 Onion chopped finely
2 tbsp Red chilly powder
1 tbsp Dhania powder
Salt as required

This is what you do:
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Saute the onions
- Add the mashed potato and peas and saute them
- Add turmeric, chilly powder and salt and mix well and saute
- At the last stage add the paneer cubes and mix well
- Divide the dough into 10 balls
- Flatten each ball into a chapathi with the chapathi roller
- Place some filling in the middle and seal it in half to a half moon shape
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these pockets till golden brown
- Serve with sauce
