Butter Naan

You can make naan without tandoor, just on your dosa tava. All that it needs is the setting time of 5-6 hours.



How to make Butter Naan:


You will need:

Maida flour - 1 cup
Yeast - 1 tbsp
Baking powder- 1tbsp
Salt
Ghee
Butter

This is what you do:

Dissolve some yeast in warm water.
Mix Maida, baking powder, yeast and salt in a bowl.
Make it like chappathi dough. Let it rest for 5-6 hours.
Divide the dough into 12 equal portions.
First fold the dough with a little ghee inbetween.
Flatten it out like chapathis.
Heat the tava and put the naans.
Once it is cooked  apply butter on both sides.
Naan is ready to be served.
