Chicken Masala

Chicken can either be made the simple way, or in an elaborate way going into each details. Sometimes, we just cook with what is there at home. And on a day like that I made this chicken masala.
How to cook Chicken Masala...
This is what you need:

To marinate:
300 gms chicken
2 tbsp curd
2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Lemon juice
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

For masala:
1 tomato
A handful of small onions
2 pods garlic 

This is what you do:

Marinate the chicken and keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Chop the onions, garlic and tomatoes finely.
Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken.

Cook the chicken till they turn slightly brown.

Add the onions and garlic and cook for 5 minutes.

Now add the tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes become tender.

Add salt and water and let it simmer for 20 minutes. 

Thicken the gravy and it is ready to be served with rice or roti.
