Tomato Dosa

Dosa has always been a favorite among us. I wanted to try something different from rava dosa or adai. Hence came up with this idea of Tomato dosa.



You will need these for making 10 dosas

Raw rice - 1 1/2 cups
Tomato - 4 medium size
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Red chillies - 10
Salt as required.

This is what you do:

Soak the rice for atleast 2 hours.
Grind the red chillies first, then add the tomatoes, coconut and salt.
To this ground mixture add the soaked rice.
Grind with a little water. Let the consistency be of that of dosa batter/
Heat the dosa tava and prepare dosas from this batter as you normally do.
Serve these tomato dosas with coconut chutney.
